Connecting Recharge
You need a Recharge API key with read access. This takes about 2 minutes.
1
Open the Recharge Merchant Portal
Log in at rechargepayments.com and go to your store.
2
Navigate to Integrations → API keys
In the left sidebar, go to Integrations, then select API keys.
3
Create a new API key
Click "Create API key". Give it a name like Eternly.
4
Set the required permissions
Enable read access for: Customers, Subscriptions, Payments, Orders, Products, Events. Write access is not required and should not be granted.
5
Copy and paste the API key
After saving, copy the key — it will only be shown once. Paste it into the Recharge API key field on the Eternly Settings page.
Security note
The API key is stored encrypted and is only used to read subscription and charge data — never to modify your store.
