Connecting Shopify

Shopify connects via OAuth — no API key needed. The process takes under a minute.

Go to Settings → Stores

In the Eternly dashboard, navigate to Settings → Stores and click "Connect a store".

Enter your store URL

Type your .myshopify.com domain — for example, your-store.myshopify.com. You can find this in your Shopify Admin under Settings → Domains.

Authorize in Shopify

You will be redirected to Shopify to review and approve the requested permissions. Click "Install app". Eternly requests read-only access to customers, orders, and products.

Initial sync starts automatically

After authorization you are redirected back to Eternly and a full sync begins immediately. Depending on your store size the initial sync takes 5–15 minutes. Data syncs every night after that.

Permissions requested

read_customers, read_orders, read_products. Eternly never writes to your store.
